Dash Cam Recording Times

These are the recording times that I have obtained using the 8gb CF card that is included with your purchase. I set the frame rate and ran the camera continuously.

They are approximate and your results may be more or less but should be in the general area.

This chart is merely to give you an idea of what time length you might obtain at the various frame rates available. 
 
The system will handle up to a 32gb Compact Flash card. Just remember, any new card must be first formated using the Car Player software that you can download under the support tab.

Recording times I got running an 8 gb card continuously. However, you need to understand that once the card is full it will overwrite the oldest file and start over, so if it is just one file, it will overwrite that entire file.

Standard (30)- 10 hrs

25- 15 hrs 6 minutes

20- 17 hrs 18 minutes

10- 37 hrs 30 minutes

5- 72 hrs  +

I stopped the test after 72 hours on 5 frames per second. I think there is enough to get a rough calculation of the recording times.
